WHAT IS THE UNDERCOVER PROJECT

The UNDERCOVER PROJECT is an ongoing yearly project which provides seven pairs of new socks and underwear to children in-need aged 4 to 14 years.
Families in need are identified by Ontario Works and ODSP. Vouchers are distributed in December through the Christmas Cheer Fund hampers and are redeemed at our office for next 10 months.

Each year over 2000 vouchers are distributed to families in need.

Each fall, Community Clothing Assistance starts fundraising activities and collects new items and monetary donations for the UNDERCOVER PROJECT.

OUR IMPACT WITH THE UNDERCOVER PROJECT

In the year 2023, the Undercover Project reached a significant milestone, offering a seven-day supply of NEW socks and underwear to over 1,500 local children facing economic challenges.
Over the past 18 years, this impactful program has touched the lives of many children, emphasizing importance of basic essentials for their well-being. By focusing on the fundamentals, the undercover Project aims to eliminate barriers and empower young minds to engage fully in their daily lives.

The ongoing commitment to this initiative reflects not only a dedication to meeting immediate needs but also a belief in the potential of every child to thrive when provided with essential elements for a healthy and confident start in life.

The Undercover Project continues to be a beacon of hope, ensuring that no child in our community goes without these fundamental necessities.
