Gently used & new clothing, shoes, bedding, winter wear, small appliances, electronics, toys, and books. For other items, please check with staff first.
Receipts are available for donations valued at $25 or more. Request yours at the time of drop-off and our office will prepare it for you.
Covers 7 pairs of new socks & underwear for one vulnerable child (ages 4–14) through the Undercover Program for a full year.
Donate $50Provides up to 120 articles of clothing — all four seasons — for one vulnerable person in our community through the Referral Program.
Donate $100Clothes a family of four — up to 480 articles across all four seasons — giving an entire family a fresh start.
Donate $400A tax receipt is provided for all sponsorship donations.
Businesses that donate to CCA are recognized through our Corporate Donor Recognition Program. We honour every contribution with a certificate and letter of appreciation — and much more depending on your tier.

Legacy giving lets you donate a portion of your estate to CCA — continuing your positive impact on the Thunder Bay community while also reducing the taxable portion for your heirs.
Designate a dollar amount or percentage in your will. Ask your lawyer about a codicil — an amendment that is free to add.
Transfer publicly traded stocks (held over 1 year) directly to CCA to avoid capital gains tax.

Donate A Car Canada accepts vehicle donations on behalf of Community Clothing Assistance — including cars, RVs, boats, and motorcycles. They handle all logistics including free towing across many areas of Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle.
Vehicles are either auctioned or recycled based on their condition, age, and location — with 100% of the proceeds benefiting CCA.
You'll receive an official tax receipt from CanadaHelps.org within 45 days of completing your vehicle donation.
Yes — all online donations through CanadaHelps receive an automatic tax receipt by email. For in-person clothing donations of $10 or more, receipts are available on request at our drop-off location.
Absolutely. All online transactions are processed by CanadaHelps.org, which uses bank-level SSL encryption. CCA never stores your payment information.
Yes — the CanadaHelps form above lets you choose a one-time or monthly recurring gift. Monthly donors provide stable, reliable support that helps us plan ahead.
