WHO CAN USE THIS PROGRAM?

The AFFORDABLE CLOTHING Program is available to everyone who visits the Clothing Centre at 404 N. May Street, Thunder Bay, ON.

HOW IS THE PROGRAM HELPING THOSE IN NEED?

Low pricing encourages self-sufficiency, and lets low-income households focus on other necessities.

ARE THERE ANY PROFITS ASSOCIATED FROM THE SALES IN THE CLOTHING CENTRE?

The Clothing Centre is an inventory control system and usually operates at a loss in order to provide goods at the lowest prices possible.

WHAT IS THE MAIN GOAL OF THIS PROGRAM?

This program aims to help reduce the amount of money clients spend on clothing for themselves and their families. Additionally, Community Clothing Assistance wants to remove stigma around poverty. By supplying quality clothing at unbeatable prices, individuals may feel more confident in their job hunt, school, or any other situation.

CCA offers an immediate help to those in crisis with warm and affordable clothing.

WHAT IS THE AFFORDABLE CLOTHING PROGRAM?

The right to adequate clothing is a human right as recognized by the United Nations and Government of Canada. Access to clothing, boosts a person's self-esteem. Through the AFFORDABLE CLOTHING Program, the charity provides clothing at symbolic prices to anyone who visits the Clothing Centre. This program fills the gaps in our other programs and doesn't require a referral.

Anyone in the community, whether low-income or building a better economic situation for themselves, can make use of the AFFORDABLE CLOTHING Program. By saving money on clothing and household items, people have more money to spend on other necessities.
